some more designs for the speech competition banner:

Here’s my design for another one of those speech competition banners. They’re moving on to the next level.

Here’s a banner I helped my dad make for a speech competition last month.

I’m really happy with how the font came out! Took some work, but the effect is great.

Here is a painting my dad and I did for Black History Month. I wanted to make the djembes look like they’re erupting out of Africa. I think it came out well, although you can’t see the cracks too well in the photos.

Home of the Brave

I have been working on a giant (7 x 5 ft) drawing of a War Veteran for my dad’s school Remembrance Day ceremony that was held today.  Here are some pics!

Constructing the giant:

I used pencils to sketch and then markers to do the line work. Drawing this big was definitely new and a fun challenge. I spent a few days working on it on the floor and only when I stood it up on the stand, I noticed some proportion problems. Oh well, I am still happy with how it came out 🙂

Did a poster for a friend:

If you’re in Norway and happen to understand wtf that says, then by all means, check out the concert.

Leaving for camping @ Algonquin tomorrow morning. Will not be doing any daily sketches for the next couple of days. Cya when I get back!

Great meals

Here’s today’s piece. Felt like doing a poster style thing. The subject is a friend…

Here is the art from the last few days that I did not post.
